About the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce

The principal office of the Corporation is located in El Paso, Texas, with the registered office of the Corporation being 10 Civic Center Plaza, E1 Paso, Texas 79901.

The purpose or purposes for which the Corporation is organized are to operate exclusively for charitable, educational, scientific and literary purposes relating to the City of E1 Paso. To operate for the benefit of, and be supervised or controlled by or in connection with, the Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce, a Texas non-profit organization described in Section 501(c)(6).

The Corporation possesses all corporate powers provided by the Texas Non-Profit Corporation Act and is entitled to engage in any-legitimate pursuit not in contravention of the laws of the State of Texas and permitted, corporations exempt from tax under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986.

The business and affairs of the Corporation is managed by its Board of Directors listed below. The Foundation owns the dedicated commuter lane between El Paso and Juarez, the Star on the Franklin Mountains, and the building housing the Center for Workforce Preparedness at 1359 Lomaland.
